Staff Picks: 2013 NCAA Baseball Tournament

by Maize_In_Spartyland

On May 31st, the NCAA Baseball Tournament began. If you aren’t familiar with how the post-season works, 64 teams make the tournament. Each conference is assured a bid and the remaining bids are filled by at-large teams. On the first weekend, there are 16 regionals of four teams each – this round is a double elimination round, with 16 teams advancing. Those 16 teams play a best of three, in eight matchups. The remaining eight teams advance to the College World Series, resulting in another round of double elimination until two teams remain. The finals are a best of three games.

Below are our staff picks. We will add more picks as each round is completed.
