Big East Update

There has been talk about what is going on with Boise State football. As of today, Boise State let the Big East (and ESPN) know they are committed to staying with them, and will join the West Division. Now the rest of Boise State athletics (non-football sports) will possibly join a conference called the Big West.

In 2013, the Big East will welcome the all-sport members, which include Memphis, Temple, SMU, Houston, and Central Florida, and in 2015, Navy. Also joining the Big East is San Diego State in 2013. The Big East members right now are Louisville, Connecticut, Cincinnati, Rutgers and South Florida. Pitt and Syracuse have left for the ACC. All new and existing teams will travel to the Big East meetings.
